Germany 9-10

This stamp was from a postcrossing tag and shows the old city hall (Altes Rathaus) in Leipzig; the city has the world record for the largest stamp mosaic and also has the oldest remaining trade fair in the world, which started in the middle ages. The old city hall was built in 1556 and 1557 and is now a museum.
The first stamp shows a Tulip and was released on the 8th September 2005 and the second stamp is based on a song called Special Train to Pankow by the musician Udo Lindenburg and was released on the 1st July 2010.

This card shows an area of the Western side of the Berlin Wall with the Brandenburger Tor, built in the 1700s, in the background. The stamps are the same as above.
