USA: 27-31

These five cards are from a swap with FloridaGirl, the first is called The Fountain of Love and is from 2007.

This next card is a reprint of a 1936 photo showing a crowd at the Pier 88 balcony at the sailing of S. S. Normandie in New York City.
This card is entitled 'Bowing on the Wild Side'

The pre-printed text on the back of this card reads: The statue of Liberty's completed torch and flame were shipped to the United States in September 1876 and displayed at the U.S. Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia. The exhibit created a sensation, for Americans at last had an idea of the size of the monumemt that the French had in store for them.

The pre-printed text on the back of this card reads: On Monday, July 5, 1926, the bridge was briefly closed to traffic for a dedication ceremony. Pres. Calvin Coolidge was in Philadelphia to attend festivities for the nation's sesquicentennial. To commemorate the bridge's opening. Coolidge planted a tree at the Camden plaza. This image shows the thousands of pedestrians lining the roadway to watch the president's motorcade.

There isn't enough space in the tags to include the stamps so I'll post those in the next post.
